Campus Garage had to put a timing chain in my VW, they did a great job and had me in and out in a matter of days. I was quoted double at a VW dealership, and they did a an amazing job for half the price. I’ve had no issues with my VW since visiting the shop.

My Iowa State undergrad calls to let me know the clutch in my stick shift Mazda is slipping. Called a few places and was referred to Campus Garage. They did a GREAT job. I’ve waited nearly 5 months before posting this review. Haven’t had a single issue with the repair. Done right at a fair price. Highly recommend Campus Garage.

I am not one to usually write reviews, but I wanted to leave this here for future students and Ames residents. The services provided are amazing value (they make an effort not to upsell you on parts or unnecessary work that a dealership would), the team is incredibly communicative, and they are flexible if you ever have a question! I myself had never independently had my car serviced, usually leaving it to the dealership to bill; Only a phone call with the folks at the Campus Garage, and I knew exactly how much I would need before servicing. Additionally, the folks at Campus Garage were fast to resolve an issue that had vexed two dedicated dealerships for months. I would highly recommend at least stopping by and seeing what these folks can do for you if you are in town!
