Great service, great work, and great prices. I've been coming here since I moved to Ames three years ago. Best place to bring your VW's, Audi, BMW, Mercedes. The only critique (and it's a small one) is that this last oil change they didn't reset the oil change indicator on the dash panel. It only took me 2 mins to google it and reset it myself. It was that easy.

I had my car in for an oil change. Very easy appointment and was able to schedule the car in the following week. Campus Garage was professional, friendly, prompt, and I had a very good experience. I would take my other vehicles here without hesitation.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had such a great experience at Campus Garage that I wanted to share it. As an Asian customer, I’ve unfortunately had experiences at other auto shops where I felt I was being talked down to or overcharged. Because of that, I tend to be extra cautious when it comes to car maintenance. Campus Garage was the complete opposite of that experience. They were honest, respectful, and transparent from start to finish. They clearly explained what was going on with my car, pointed out potential issues, and let me know which ones were not urgent and could simply be monitored. There was absolutely no pressure, no upselling, and no feeling of being taken advantage of — just genuine, professional advice. Their kindness, integrity, and fairness truly stood out. This is hands down one of the best auto repair shops I’ve ever been to, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate service.

I can't even properly rate this shop on their ability to repair cars because I never even got that far. I submitted an appointment request on a Thursday and did not hear back. However initially I understood that they were closed on weekends so I figured making a phone call would be best. I attempted to call the store the following Monday afternoon and the first try yielded no result. So, I gave the shop another call a few minutes later, I finally was able to get someone to pick up and was swiftly put on hold. However the person who answered quickly hung up on me and I received no further communication in any capacity. I had to resort to fixing the issue myself and was left extremely dissatisfied with the service from this business.

Eric is so helpful. And he didnt charge just to make sure the car was college-ready for my kiddo.
