This is the second time I have had my son take his car here. Both times the car was able to be looked at the same day without having an appointment. They are always very accommodating.

They did good work fairly quickly for me coming in on a holiday. They do not wear masks even though the worker expressed to me they had Covid go through the shop recently. Oil change was expensive (almost $70) for 6 quarts of oil and a filter. ~$38 for parts and $20.25 in labor for a fifteen minute job but again this might have just been a holiday rate. Good work, nice employees, and done on time so I can’t complain too much. Just might be a bit above a college student’s budget.

They were very helpful when I called to ask about my problem and it was very easy to set up an appointment. They figured out the issue pretty quickly and got it fixed the same day. The costs were very reasonable too!

We couldn’t have been happier with the service we received from Campus Garage! We were in a bad situation with a car window that wouldn’t go up in the extreme cold and snow. They got us in quickly and fixed the problem within a day. We have found our new go to service in Ames. We will definitely be back in the future!

Another shout out to Campus Garage for taking care of my son's car without an appointment and getting it done fast and a more than fair bill. My son went to spend the new year eve/day with his girlfriend and some friends. While getting ready to leave Sunday morning his car slid on the ice while parking and hit a curb on an angle. Enough to bend the suspension and cause the car not to drive straight. He was at Campus Garage first thing Monday morning and explained that he needed to get back home for work. Within hours they had an estimate and parts ordered, everything arrived on Wednesday and by midway he was on his way home. This is the second time they take care of him in a moments notice. If anyone here knows the owners of that place please give them a big thank you on my behalf.

Repair shop nightmares are an old American cliche. Eric at Campus Garage and his team work tirelessly to put this mantra to bed. Super meticulous about finding root cause and not doing any shotgun repairs which waste money and resources, these guys rock. Great work, right first time and very cost effective, I keep my old vehicles happy and my total cost of car ownership low at Campus Garage. Thanks folks!
